Amr Nounou an architect with a wide academic and practical experience, holder of a specialized Master's degree (class rank 1st) from Politecnico di Milano, Italy. (Qs: world university subject ranking: 5th).
Backed up with 10+ years of interior design experience, Nounou's portfolio includes state of the art projects - delivered through his design studio (Amr Nounou Architects) and other reputable design studios and companies in Milan, Italy.
Nounou's signature is storytelling design approach, recognizable in his work, creating luxury residential projects and a variety of commercial spaces including restaurants, bars, and retails.
His constant participation in international interior design workshops and affairs kept his work inspired by recent trends and technologies.
Nounou's curiosity lead him to explore various design fields as it took him from architecture to interiors, furniture, product design, brand communication and brands storytelling.
Wish a social responsibility, Nounou feels the importance to transform what he has learnt, his gained experience and his design philosophy to the fresh young minds in Egypt.
Yousri’s multidisciplinary practice ranges between creating mixed media installations in art galleries and in public space, and experimental and documentary films. In his different practices, he relies on humor as a tool to converse with different audiences across the world and to criticize common stereotypes and taboos. While his work is often a commentary on the contemporary Egyptian social and political situation, it is still concerned with the larger frame of the human condition. Moreover, Yousri’s work often investigates other issues such as the meaning of cross-cultural dialogue in the light of the current world culture politics, and the relationship between mass culture, art, and audience.
Since 2000, Yousri has been showing his work across Egypt, the Arab world, USA, and Europe. In addition to six solo shows between Egypt and USA, Yousri participated in a number of group exhibitions. Some of the most prominent venues where Yousri showed his work are the Museum of the Moving Image (MoMI) in New York, USA; Centre Pompidou in Paris, France; Sharjah Art Foundation, UAE; Mathaf: the Arab Museum of Modern Art in Doha, Qatar; l’Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, France; the State Museum of Egyptian Art in Munich, Germany; and IVAM (Institut Valencià d'Art Modern) in Valencia; Spain.
Yousri received his MFA in painting, drawing and sculpture from Tyler School of Art - Temple University in Philadelphia in 2009, and his BFA in painting from the School of Fine Arts - Helwan U. in Cairo in 2003. He was also the recipient of a Fulbright Art’s Grant in 2006, and an AFAC grant in 2012. Additionally, he was awarded several artist-in-residence fellowships by several institutions: ProHelvetia Switzerland, 2019; Vermont Studio Center in USA, 2013 & 2018; Kultur Kontakt Austria, 2017; Arte East in New York USA, 2016; Sharjah Art Foundation in the UAE, 2016; Kansas State University in USA, 2011; and Kala Art Institute in California USA, 2010.
Sara Maher, Interior Architect / and Designer, pursued her passion studying architectural engineering in the American University in Cairo (AUC). She went on to obtain her Interior Design Master’s degree from the Florence Institute of Design International in Florence, Italy. Taught under several of Italy’s finest interior and furniture designers, she has gained a well-rounded grasp of what international design entails.
Sara has since worked as an interior architect in some of Egypt’s leading design offices such as Eklego and most recently ALCHEMY design studio. Her projects range from residential to commercial design projects, both locally and in the Gulf region.
Expanding her design skills, she obtained her Furniture Design Diploma from Kemet Art and Design to further pursue a career in furniture and product design.
Sara offers her students guidance to achieving a well-balanced design that curates to today’s market needs.
Sarah Allouba has graduated from Misr International University (MIU) in June 2007, with a degree in Architectural Engineering. She has joined the Florence Design Academy (FDA) in 2013 where she graduated a year later with a Masters of Arts in Interior Design. In terms of work experience, Allouba has worked as a teaching assistant in MIU during the academic year 2007 – 2008. She has then joined Palm Hills Developments in 2008 where she worked as an architect and a landscape architect. She has then started her work as an interior designer in Progressive Architects from 2011 to 2012. Allouba has also worked as an interior designer at the Mona Hussein Design House, and then joined Bareeq Capital where she worked as an engineering associate from 2014 to 2016. Sarah Allouba is currently working as a senior architect – team leader in New Giza, a company which she joined in July 2016.
Graduated as an Architect from the faculty of fine arts – Helwan University - year 2003, Since his early graduation days Marwan Fayed kept a career balance between the worlds of Design practice and Design Academia.
Between running his own studio practice and teaching at several universities such as – The German University in Cairo, The American University in Cairo and several other private universities – Fayed constantly develops his academic methods as inspired from the professional practice of Design.
Having taught a wide range of courses starting from Architectural Design studios through Product Design and Graphic Design Foundation courses, Fayed views Design as once integrated realm of knowledge and practice. Something he had the chance to learn about after joining the Koln international school of design (K.I.S.D) as a master student in the year 2011 in a MA program – Design Integration.
Nesrine Hegazi is an acclaimed jewelry maker and designer with ten years of experience in the creative industry. She founded Sterling Silver Egypt to revive the creation of handmade jewelry, which is often lost to mass production. She produces “iconic symbols” that reflect character and personal interests, and are inspired from Egypt’s rich cultural heritage and nature. With multiple specializations in jewelry design, metal smithing, wax carving and stone setting, Hegazi has exhibited her work in local and international bazaars and galleries. She enjoys teaching young talents how to create unique and inspiring designs, to become master jewelers and model makers.
Yamen is a musician, educator, art director and master of fine arts. He graduated at the top of his class from Printed Design at Helwan University, and received his Master’s in Illustration from the Savannah College in the US. He has designed for global firms such as JWT and Leo Burnett, and has drawn everything from children's books and wedding posters to medical info-graphics and graffiti art. Yamen’s work has been displayed at local and international exhibitions, including ones in Cairo, Romania, and Georgia. A passionate graphic designer, has been working in the market since 2006, joined giant firms in branding and advertising through which a lot of best practice in designing styles and branding techniques were implemented in the Egyptian market. Along she developed her academic career: finished masters of applied arts and Instructor at the Arts Department in the American University In Cairo.
Amar Abdelhalim is an Architect and Craft Worker. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Architectural Engineering and earned an MA in Textile Design from the University of Arts London. She is currently running a traditional textile workshop in Egypt that produces block printed fabrics. Abdelhalim’s international exposure and work experience have heightened her appreciation of unrestricted self-expression, which she aspires to convey through her work.
Tarek Abdelkawi is a multi-disciplinary Artist, with exceptional talent as an illustrator and designer, alongside his passion for music.
Tarek is an Architect by training, currently teaching Illustration at the American University in Cairo. He is considered one of the few artist in Egypt who brilliantly combines traditional drawing methods with up-to-date graphic software.

Ever since she was a child practicing art, Nahla Gamil fell in love with it, she participated in many art activities and competitions. Art was just a dream until it became true by studying in the Applied Arts department of Advertising to later on get her master’s degree. Also she has an experience in animation in many companies and satellite channel extended through 12 years. In addition to her experience in the academic university teaching.
Hala Ellaithy is a Fashion Designer and a consultant. She graduated from ESMOD Paris with a degree in Fashion Design. She is passionate about creating art that reflects her love of adventure. Hala started her career in corporate life, but throughout the six years she had always wanted to pursue her dream in Fashion. She participated in Paris Fashion Week with her first collection at ``ZIPZONE`` salon. During her stay in Paris she worked in many Fashion houses, and worked with Marion Chopineau on big projects like Louis Vuitton and Maison Margiela in fabric manipulation. She believes that Egypt's fashion scene is booming, and she decided to become part of this innovation and move her brand ``Ēleissi`` to Egypt. Hala also works as the head of Design department in ``Magma Sportswear``. Hala is interested in merging Fashion with technology through using high tech fabrics; this has identified her style as futuristic and minimal. She believes that one can make a difference, hence she enjoys passing her experiences and motivate people to become fashion gurus. Simply she loves being an instructor within her passion.
Maha Ahmed is a young fashion designer that was born in
Cairo, Egypt in 1992. She earned a bachelor’s degree in
marketing and a minor in Global Communications at The
American University of Paris. After living in Paris for 4 years,
Maha then moved back home, where she worked for a start-up
fashion PR agency. Later, Maha decided to move to Milan to
pursue her true passion, where she earned a degree in Fashion
Design from Istituto Marangoni, Milano.
Ahmed Nabil ; Fashion designer and Art director. Majored in Mass communication. Followed with Fashion styling and Art direction course and after that he attended a fashion design and tailoring and pattern making course. He started his clothing line ``NOB designs`` in 2014. He showcased his first collection at the second edition of
CFF. He worked as a fashion director for MO4 network for a year and a half, during his time there he worked on a lot of huge shoots/fashion films like: Mall of Egypt, Coca Cola, Pandora, Nescafe, Pier 88 and Masr el kheir.

Yasmin graduated from the Faculty of Arts Education with the passion of drawing, painting, creating unique artworks, sewing and making handmade accessories. By the year 2000, Yasmin started her career as a designer: creating ready-to-go wear, handmade accessories and recycling old clothes.
Her passion to fashion is more than the overlook or only teaching her students how to draw the figure and color it, but it is rather a way to say who you are without having to speak.
Ahmad Eldaly, Interior Architect Motivated, result oriented ambitious, a designer with 10 years’ experience of design techniques, tools and principals involved in the production of concepts, plans, drawings, and models.
Ahmad has worked as an interior designer in some of Egypt’s and gulf leading design offices such as Mona Hussien Design House, AEB, and Mimar, working through a variety of projects (residential, commercial and hospitality), most recently Ahmad is leading his own design studio. Also, His teaching passion started since 2016 as a teacher assistant in Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport.
Ahmad believes in the ability of interior design, architecture, research, and design thinking to effect good in the community. Ahmad’s goal is to help better shape the built environment through the creation of beautiful interiors, functional architecture while delivering these assets to the upcoming young minds.

She has been studying shoe design for the past 8 years, with a certificate in shoe design and making from Accademia Riaci in Florence, Italy. She introduced the shoe design course in the Egyptian market in 2017 with Kemet art and design school in the AUC with over 60 students and over 5 rounds. Some of the students were able to start their brands such as Elia by Amira Motawea and Noun by Nada gomaa.
Badr is both an Architect and Sound Artist. He obtained his Bachelors in Architectural Engineering and went on to teach 1st year Architecture students in the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. He has produced a series of sound designed scenes and participated in several theatre performances in various Egyptian governorates. The versatile nature and the quality of his work continuously inspire creativity and innovation in his students.
Fouad El Sherbini is a film director with national and international productions. He received his Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, with a specialization in broadcasting, from MSA University and Middlesex University London. He has since worked as a director, producer and instructor in a large number of movies, promos, reports, trailers, TV programs and commercial ads. His honorary work has won him several awards, including 5 Cam International Film Festival awards and 1 from the Forum of Movies in Egyptian Film Center. With over ten years of experience in the industry, Fouad continues to teach film-making and cinematography, alongside his career as a director and producer.
Farah Abdelhamid is a practicing jewelry artist, and graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design from the Jewelry and Metalsmithing program. She has participated in several group exhibitions in the USA, the Netherlands and Egypt. With over 5 years of teaching experience, including the Design Studio by Azza Fahmy, Farah is a maker by heart. Her work examines notions of functionality and wearability driven by jewelry concepts and processes in relation to the body.
Sherine Osman is a global artist who spent her childhood in Germany, France, Vietnam and Rwanda. While abroad, she participated in many art exhibitions and continued to do so when she relocated to Cairo. There, she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the American University in Cairo. Right before graduation, her mentor and thesis supervisor, Dr. Nagla Samir told her: “If you were born and left without any education, you would have become an artist.” With such an exceptional talent, Sherine went on to tutor students from Lycée Français du Caire and is currently a teacher at Malvern College Egypt. Her passion for art and how it can heal people, combined with her unique international exposure, continue to be at the heart of her work.
