Selected Talents for PSTA Workshops Abroad

Last June KEMET brought The Prince School for Traditional Arts (PSTA) workshop Eye Design from Nature for young talents.

Working GroupDuring this workshop the participants learned how to draw geometric designs, understand their symbolic meaning, drive inspiration from Cairo’s magnificent monuments, and collaborated under the guidance of their international team of tutors to produce large-scale pieces of artwork.

The participants studied and got inspired by designs from different cultures such as Ancient Egypt, China and the Islamic World. They participated in researching, drawing, designing, creating, painting and installing a collaborative final artwork.

We are very excited to announce the names of the two exceptional talents selected by PSTA to attend a remarkable and enjoyable learning experience at PSTA in London:

Dalia shall have the opportunity to choose the topic she wishes to persue from the available courses at the PSTA’S Open Programme Courses.  As for Yassin, he shall have the opportunity to attend one of PSTA’s outreach programs for young people during the Easter break in April 2016.
