This workshop trained the eyes to see, the mind to imagine and the talent to inspire. Its main focus was not on how to use the camera, but on how to design, capture and edit a scene.
Through a series of lectures, practical activities and on-campus field trips, it covered the entire process of photography, from theory and understanding to finished products and editing. It introduced basic knowledge of photography: What is it? How do we choose an object? What can we show? It identified different types of photography, such as abstraction, landscape and portrait, as well as the tips & tricks of professional photography. By the end of the creative process, participants got a chance to exhibit their final pieces in a gallery!
